Use of all types of roads are covered, together with adverse weather training (subject to conditions). D.S.A publications can be provided in the form of books, CD roms and DVDs. Help with theory and real time Hazard Perception Training provide students the ongoing learning process necessary for passing the part one test.

Different cars are available, these include Ford Focus, Fiat Punto and new for 2007, BMW mini and Ford Fiesta Zetec S models. Cars provided are easy to drive and through training the student is given reference points on the car, making manoeuvres easier and more accurate.
